They said: refugees are a problem and keeping them out of Australian shores is the answer.

And, therefore, if the public is led to believe that refugees are such a problem, then it would logically mean that they ought to vote for the party that will most effectively keep refugees out of our shores.

And when you want to keep refugees away, you will obviously vote for the party of racism - The Liberals.

If Labor had a more progressive platform, arguing against immoral treatment of refugees, and calling for humane programs, and then they said: Refugees are not the problem, but innocent humans.

And then who will the Australian public vote for. The party that is best racist and inhumane? Or the party that is 'doing it's best' (Labor would say that, not me) to help them?

Any humane moral person, who understood the truth about refugees, would obviously vote for the party with the most progressive platform. But when the debate is so perverted and corrupted and Rightwing, there isn't much surprise with what ended up happening.

The Labor Left, who criticise the Liberals but refuse to criticise the Labor Right, have no one else to blame, for this election mess, but their own party. And... considering how un-aggressive, un-progressive and weak the Labor Left have been over the last 5 years, they deserve it.Mikhail Silverwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07981370631370607531noreply@blogger.com
